Carl Pierce Wed 16th Nov The Twist Colchester
Carl goes into Colchester having just played in Leicester a week before, Carl is tonight playing with local acts, its a friendly atmosphere with everybody clapping after every acts sound check, which I have never witnessed before. The crowd show they are here to listen not just to talk through every act. Carl starts off his set with 'Why Are you So Afraid' a laid back song, the first off his Ep.His second choice 'Now The Bird Has Spread Her Wings This',is more in your face, with a catchy riff through out.'When Tears Fall Down On Me',this has replaced 'Blurred Vision' in the way everybody knows the words better than the rest of the songs in the set.'Why Can I See More Than You','Laying On Your Side',the set is setting up nicely with a good balance of songs with the rest not getting too predictable, Ending on 'Until I Shoot My Gun'.
